Rebecca joined Wellcome in May 2025 as Chief Information Officer.

Before joining Wellcome, Rebecca was Chief Information Officer at Lloyd's of London, having built her career through senior technology roles in banking, consulting, insurance and real estate, across the globe.

During her time at Lloyd’s, Rebecca chaired the City UK’s Technology and Innovation committee, a government advisory position where she successfully drove the City’s response to the digitalisation of Bonds, a simplification of the regulatory landscape in financial services and supported the House of Lords in its bid to introduce an ethical framework for AI.

She was named in the Global 100 Most Influential Women in Technology 2022.
